Hydro jetting uses high pressure water through a specialised nozzle to scour the full inside diameter of a line, pulling grease, scale and root mass back toward the cleanout. Unlike a cable machine it cleans the pipe wall rather than punching a hole through the blockage, which is why a jetted line stays clear longer.
It is not the right tool for every job and we will say so. High pressure water into deteriorated clay tile or badly corroded cast iron can open up a failure rather than clear a blockage, which is why we camera older Wichita lines before jetting them.
Where it earns its keep is grease in a kitchen line and heavy root mass in a lateral that is still structurally sound.
